Coin Waltz

I had the opportunity to review and work with Alex Pandrea’s Coin Waltz.  I’ve always liked the Anniversary Waltz Card effect and its refreshing to see a coin magic twist on this classic card effect.  The basic effect is two signed quarters and merged into a single coin in a visual manner.  If you liked the Slam Coin Merge, I think you’ll the visual impact that the Coin Waltz has on an audience.

Coin Waltz Thoughts

Yes there is a gimmick.  However, I’m not tipping much as the New York Magic Project description of the effect refers to the gimmick.  It is a simple gimmick and is easy to assemble.  The DVD walks you through the simple construction and setup.  Alex also explains how to hide the gimmick and the Coin Waltz is one of those effects that would work great for the restaurant table performer.

The ideas found on the Coin Waltz DVD can also be applied to other classic effects like coin switches, coin through hand penetrations and other coin through table and coin through glass ideas.  The Coin Waltz is one of those straight forward no-patter story effects that gets right to the magic moment.

I also like Alex’s handling of the impromptu version of Coin Waltz.  I appreciate the pure sleight of hand approach that accomplishes the same end result.

Coin Waltz Recommendation

Get it.  For $21.95 you get a magic trick “Worker” that makes an impact and leaves the spectator with an unforgettable reminder of that Coin Waltz magic moment.

I recommend you pick up the Coin Waltz coin magic effect!.

  1. Hello,

My name is Ryan Clark and I’m the CO-founder of Luxon Magic™ (http://www.luxonmagic.com). I would like to start by saying that you have a marvellous idea going on with your website. My question to you is if you would like to start a partnership with us at Luxon Magic. I was thinking something in the line of promoting eachother, but I’m open to suggestions!

    Best regards,
    Ryan
